The Hope Murals Project @ ONS – Anaheim, CA

http://youtu.be/o4jqXzIvd70 Nearly 1,000 oncology nurses from across the United States and around the world joined together, paintbrushes in hand, to create the first Hope Mural at the Oncology Nursing Society's 39th Annual Congress in Anaheim, Calif. The mural is inspired by "Grow, Survive, and Blossom," a 2008 competition entry by a 20-year cancer survivor. Following the painting of the mural at ONS, it was permanently installed at the Anaheim Public Library. Lilly Oncology On Canvas, now in its 10th year, represents the artistic expression of the journeys people face when confronted with cancer. To commemorate this milestone, Lilly Oncology presents The Hope Murals Project, a mission to bring 10 murals based on the inspirational art from past competitions to 10 cities across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
