• Great to keep in moisture as juices from the meat aren’t dripping into charcoal, which helps keep in flavor and reduce risk of forming cancer causing compounds
• Use the skillet to cook a variety of vegetables, such as root vegetables, butternut squash, brussel sprouts, etc.
• Cooking meat in the skillet prevents flare ups since juices aren’t dripping down into the grill; however, because of the high temperature there is still a risk for cancer causing compounds to form. Try to maintain a lower temperature overall when cooking on the grill.
