Childhood cancer patients find joy in winter wonderland mural project
Childhood cancer patients at MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital created a life-sized winter wonderland forest mural filled with trees of their own design. The project allowed young patients and their family members to show off their individual personalities while also connecting with others through this community art project.
The mural, which is on display in The Park at MD Anderson through early 2015, was created through as part of the hospital’s Arts in Medicine Program, as well as MD Anderson Children’s Art Project.
