Weathering Hurricane Maria: Amgen’s Commitment to Our patients, Our community

At Amgen, we take pride in delivering on our commitment to supply medicines to every patient, every time. In September 2017, Hurricane Maria made landfall in Puerto Rico, presenting a major challenge for our largest manufacturing facility, which is based in Juncos. Through careful preparation and ongoing dedication in the wake of the storm our staff ensured we never missed a single delivery of medicines for our patients. We are grateful for their unwavering commitment to serving patients despite the ongoing challenges our staff and the community of Juncos experienced in the face of the storm.
