The Hope Murals Project @ Hospital Auxilio Mutuo – San Juan, PR

The Hope Murals team journeyed to beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico to transform an oil painting with Hospital Auxilio Mutuo into the city’s Hope Mural. The artist, a resident of Puerto Rico, helped paint the mural based on her art “Soldiers of Love” to commemorate her late husband’s battle with cancer. “As painting began to fill so many spaces in my life I understood that ‘Soldiers of Love’ were very important to fight this war,” the artist notes in her narrative to describe the meaning behind her artwork. The mural was installed at McLeary Mini Mart on Calle Santa Ana.
