Message From the Heart: Scott’s Story

Familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) is an inherited condition that leads to high levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), or “bad” cholesterol, at an early age. People with FH have a 50% chance of passing the condition on to their children. But despite an estimated 1 million people in the U.S. with FH, less than 1% have been diagnosed. Watch Scott share his FH Message From the Heart and help him educate families about this genetic condition and the importance of early diagnosis.
