As Beverley recovered from breast reconstruction surgery she found support through the Macmillan’s Online Community. It was here she met Anna, who Beverley shared advice with as Anna prepared to undergo the same surgery that Beverley had been through a year earlier. Together they started Keeping Abreast, a support group for women diagnosed with breast cancer facing the possibility of a mastectomy. And it’s gone from strength to strength.
