FH Family Portrait
Familial Hypercholesterolemia, or FH, is a genetic condition that causes extremely high levels of “bad” cholesterol, known as low-density lipoprotein cholesterol or LDL, and leads to the development of heart disease at an early age. People with FH have a 50 percent chance of passing it on to their children and, in most countries, less than one percent of people with FH are diagnosed. Learn more about FH in this short whiteboard animation video.
