As part of our coverage of the 2014 American Society of Hematology (ASH) annual meeting, Dr. Stephen Ansell from the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota joined to talk about news coming out of ASH for the treatment of Hodgkin lymphoma. Dr. Ansell explains how immunotherapy, harnessing one’s own immune system to fight the cancer, is especially promising in patients that have failed standard therapies for Hodgkin lymphoma. He also discusses drugs in clinical trials that are showing promising results for patients.
