http://youtu.be/0At_Foujg-A UQ IMB had the pleasure of hosting an inspiring and thought-provoking conversation between internationally renowned neurosurgeon Professor Charlie Teo AM and award-winning journalist Madonna King. Professor Teo is passionate about finding a cure for brain cancer, which kills more people under 40 in Australia than any other cancer. In conversation with Madonna King, Professor Teo shared stories from his career so far, and his vision for treating brain cancer in the future. Together with UQ IMB Director and senior brain cancer researcher Professor Brandon Wainwright, and Cure Brain Cancer Foundation's Head of Engagement Barrie Littlefield, the panel also discussed the important role community support and world-class research play in helping us beat the odds against brain cancer.
