What is cancer staging?
https://www.cancercenter.com/ Staging is important for cancer patients because it determines the direction of treatment. Most cancers are staged using the TNM system. In this classification, the “T” refers to the size of the tumor and how invasive it is, the “N” measures lymph node involvement, and the “M” is based on whether and how far the disease has metastasized, or spread. In general, a cancer’s stage is determined by a biopsy and imaging tests. Watch the video to learn more about cancer staging.
