My Third Chemo Treatment

Another day, another chemo treatment. Here on July 3rd, 2014 I am in for my 3rd session, but this time in Maine. It’s not exactly how I pictured celebrating July 4th, but the amazing staff at Maine Medical Center helped to get me through it.

In June of 2014, Lunden was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, which required chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. An eternal optimist, Lunden wanted to turn her diagnosis into an opportunity to help others.
