Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) is a rare, aggressive type of breast cancer that can quickly metastasize and spread to other parts of the body. It is often misdiagnosed as a rash and inappropriately treated with antibiotics, ultimately delaying treatment. Dr. Anthony Lucci, Professor of surgical oncology, says education is key to fighting this deadly disease.
